Hey fam! I recently got back from a fun and packed-to-the-brim trip to New York, so I thought I’d share some of what I did and saw plus some other stuff I’m into at the moment.
New York was a work trip for me, as I was there to participate in the Housing Works x Bar Keeper’s Friend Vintage Market at the Housing Works Bookstore in Soho. It was SO fun. I got to meet so many of my Instagram friends IRL and also sign books, which is always exciting.
New York was cold and magic (it didn’t snow while I was there, but still magic and Christmasy).

Some places I ate:
Son Del Norte, for a bean burrito and chips and guacamole
Black Seed Bagel, for pastrami-style lox and cream cheese (plus a pickled green tomato and onion) on an Everything, toasted
Chateau Royale, for duck l’Orange, the best French fries of my life, a bracingly-cold gin martini made tableside, Hokkaido scallops, and tart au citron. Pure heaven.
Balthazar for mussels frites with one of my best girlfriends. A very impromptu meet-up and managed to snag the last reservation.

Keep reading for where I shopped and what I bought in New York — plus a recent jewelry discovery, favorite new rug arrivals, and some thrift finds!
